Tessellated cone shells (Conus Tessulatus), known for their beauty are a small to medium sized seashell characterized by a white base color covered with distinct bands of red, chestnut or orange squares and rectangles creating a "tessellated" pattern, with a somewhat flat top & pointed spire and the base of the shell has a purple tip. Shells are found in the waters around Hawaii.
